Ski-in/ski-out home in Moonlight Basin w/private hot tub - Saddle Ridge - Gambler Chalet | House in Big Sky
2 Bedroom House in Saddle Ridge, Big Sky
Welcome to Gambler Chalet, your ski-in/ski-out escape in the heart of Big Sky.
Imagine waking up, clicking into your skis, and heading straight to the Iron Horse Lift without ever getting in a car. That is exactly what this place offers. Nestled in Saddle Ridge, this stunning 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhome sits right at the crossroads of Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin, giving you access to some of the best skiing in the world right from your front door.
Step inside and you will immediately feel the warmth of the rustic hardwood floors and cozy furnishings. The main level opens up into a vaulted great room with a gas fireplace that practically begs you to slow down and settle in. The kitchen, dining area, and breakfast bar make it easy to cook together and gather around the table after a long day on the mountain. When the weather cooperates, step out onto the deck and fire up the gas grill while you take in the sweeping mountain views. It does not get much better than that.
Upstairs, the master suite is your private retreat with a king bed and its own full bathroom. Head downstairs and you will find the second bedroom suite, complete with a queen bed, twin bunk beds, and its own private bath. There is also a full size pullout couch for extra guests, making this place work beautifully for families, couples, or a small group of friends.
And then there is the hot tub. Tucked onto the lower level deck with views of Lone Peak and the Big Sky Valley, it is the kind of thing you think about all day on the slopes knowing it is waiting for you when you get back. A cold beer, sore legs, and a front row seat to one of the most beautiful views in Montana. You will not want to leave.
Gambler Chalet is not just a place to sleep. It is the reason the whole trip is worth it.
Winter
Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.
Summer
The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.
